These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Writar AI Keyboard application ("App") provided by JRICKSS Financial Services LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Writar, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
Writar is an AI-powered keyboard application that provides text transformation features including translation, rewriting, grammar correction, tone adjustment, and other AI-assisted writing tools. The App is available on Android and iOS platforms.
3. Free and Pro Plans
Free Plan: Includes access to 3 AI actions (Rewrite, Grammar, Translate) with a daily limit of 3 uses per day.
Pro Plan: Includes unlimited access to all 16 AI actions, 64 tone styles, 16 languages, custom keyboard themes, and unlimited daily usage. Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($9.99/month), annual subscription ($79.99/year), or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($149.99).
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with the refund policies of the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Stripe, depending on your platform.
- Prices are subject to change. We will provide notice of any price changes before they take effect.
- The Lifetime plan ($149.99) is a one-time purchase that grants permanent Pro access with no recurring charges.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Writar to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Generate spam, phishing content, or malicious communications
- Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the service in any way that could damage or overburden our servers
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of JRICKSS Financial Services LLC. You retain ownership of any original text you input into the App. AI-generated outputs are provided for your use without restriction.
7. AI-Generated Content
Writar uses AI language models to process your text. While we strive for high-quality results:
- AI outputs may not always be perfectly accurate or appropriate.
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before use.
- We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated text.
- AI translations should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or other critical communications without professional verification.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRICKSS Financial Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of our AI processing services. However, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently discontinue any feature or the entire service, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
